Today i.e July 1 2013, we all should say goodbye to Google Reader, an awesome aggregator & reader service for collecting articles from your favorite websites or blogs on one single page. The demise of Google Reader created huge opportunity for many other aggregators to improve their service by adding more & more features..
You can do this by going to Settings -> Import/Export and follow the steps to export your feeds (i.e Google Reader data) via Google Takeout, which will download a ZIP folder. You won’t be able to access your feeds after July 7th, so immediately export your Google Reader data now. Most RSS readers will let you import subscriptions as the data is saved as an XML file..
Here are some alternatives for Google Reader
- AOL Reader
- Digg Reader
- Google Currents
- The Old Reader
If you know any other Feed Aggregators service then do let us know via comment..
